Obama said if the Iranians are willing to forgo the acquisition of nuclear weapons, he is delighted. He indicated that USA will welcome any change in that regard. He said given these assurances he will be happy to engage the Iranians. There was some talk of a meeting of the two presidents , perhaps on the margins of the UN meet. The meeting did not take place. The willingness to meet and talk is strength. It did not happen. So be it. Give peace and nonproliferation a chance. Bravo, Obama.
