I am quite surprised at the Indian obsession with parity with Pakistan. India is a big country. It should have ignored the resolution in the Pakistan National Assembly. A powerful country that realized its own worth would have done that. One does not respond to stupidity with stupidity. Now Pakistan's politicians' need to show that they are at least equal to India and can get a rise from India any time they want has been satisfied. Wake up , you slumbering Indian political class. Whether the Indian PM should see Sharif in New York could have delivered the message without saying anything. Stop your petty games and look after the country.
